Many experts have called the fight nothing but a farce criticising the defending champion for fighting selectively. Andre Berto will be defending the title for the 6th time in his career. Berto is gifted with lightning fast hand speed & tremendous flexibility. He holds a record of 27-0 with 21 of them being KOs.
On the other hand Victor Ortiz is a natural right hander trained as a southpaw. Because of this he has a tremendous right hook which is more than enough to rattle a few of Berto’s nerves. He also has quite good head movement & decent footwork. But he lacks the essential qualities when it comes to defence.
